About
I Know What It Means to Carry Loss.
My own experience with grief is what brought me to this work—and what keeps me here. After the sudden and tragic loss of my youngest son, Jesse, I found myself navigating a depth of grief, pain, and trauma I never imagined I would experience. I have learned that grief doesn't follow a timeline, there is no “right” way to grieve, and learning to live again doesn't mean leaving the person we love behind. I bring both lived experience and years of professional experience supporting children and families to the work I do today. I am committed to offering something I know can be difficult to find: honest, compassionate, down-to-earth support from someone who understands that grief can be messy, complicated, and lifelong. I believe there can eventually be moments of light in the darkness—simple joys, laughter, connection, and new beginnings—without diminishing the love or loss we carry. You don't have to be “okay” here. You can simply be where you are, and together we can explore the next step.
How I Found This Path
The weight of Grief found me without warning. Like most people, I wasn't prepared for how all-consuming loss could be — how it could reshape not just my days, but my sense of self, my relationships, and my understanding of the world.
What helped me most wasn't being told to move on. It was being given permission to stay — to sit with my grief, to understand it, and to find creative ways to express what words alone couldn't hold.
That experience became a calling. I trained as an expressive arts facilitator, grief educator and grief coach because I wanted to offer others what I had needed: a compassionate presence, a safe container, and a path forward that didn't require leaving anyone behind.

What I Believe About Grief
Grief is not a problem to be solved — it is love with nowhere to go.
There is no timeline for grief, and no right way to experience it.
Healing doesn't mean forgetting. It means learning to carry your loss with more grace and finding purpose.
Creativity can reach places that words cannot — and that matters deeply in grief.
